Dr Laura Claveria will be giving a tour of the exhibition ‘Contested Bodies’. ‘Contested Bodies’ interrogates and celebrates the performativity of gender as a social construct and features artworks from over 40 artists across the gender spectrum including Jesse Darling, Martine Gutierrez, Richard Malone, Ad Minoliti, Sin Wai Kin and Gray Wielebinski.
Tickets are free, but booking is required.
Accessibility
The Stanley & Audrey Burton Gallery is located in the Parkinson Building of Leeds University. The is lift access to the right of the steps. The doors into the building and into the foyer are automatic. The gallery itself is on that floor so is step-free.
Large print guides of the exhibition are available.
Asistance & guide dogs are welcome.
Masks are encouraged. Please test yourself for COVID and do not attend if you are showing any symptoms.
