Initially a project to see what it took to connect live events directly with an online presence, Four Track Nights started as an open mic night. Held in bookshops, basements, coffeeshops. in fact anywhere that would have us.
It was recorded using only the 4 tracks available on my old ropey Belkin Tunestudio, iPod Nano and some cheap mics.
Some of the recordings are still up on SoundClound if you are interested in having a listen. You can find them here:

Constraints on time, work and life meant that 4TN had to be packed away and life continued on.
Many years later and a few things have alinged to allow for a different approach to the project.
Four Track Nights now offers a space to support experimental audio artists in collaborating and creating immersive hybrid virtual performances combined with experimental visual and lumia works in this unique curatorial meta project.
If you would like to show your work and do a session with Four Track Nights feel free to register your interest via the participate form to start the ball rolling.
Despite the growing number for experimental sound artists finding an outlet for thier work on social media platfroms, there are few if any dedicated spaces in the UK.
Four Track Nights is a space dedicated to presenting experimental artist sessions.
Fiercely open and accessible, 4TN sessions are currently pre-recorded with a view to live streaming your experimental, sketches and sets.
If you'd like to play, fill in the PARTICIPATE link and you'll be contacted asap. to discuss times and dates.
Your session will have custom visuals and when released shared for all to see with links to your own socials and media.
