ENVIRONMENTAL SENSOR FOR FACE MASKS
Because of the corona virus everyone must wear masks in these days, so that the purpose of the project is to make a device that can measure temperature, humidity, air quality, and pressure values inside a person’s mask. These values can be harmful for people and if they are at a dangerous level the device will tell the user via an android app. I will be using nrf52 as my microprocessor under the favor of its BLE technology and Bme680 which is connected with I2C for measuring temperature, humidity, air quality. Device will also have a MPU6050 sensor which can measure acceleration and gyroscope. Mpu6050 will be used for measuring and in order to notifying someone if the person fell to the ground. Device will be attached to the person’s mask to get accurate results easily. A PCB has been manufactured to maintain a smaller footprint for the device. Device name is 4th Layer.
