My name is Krysta Rowan. I will be either your child's math teacher and/or their homeroom teacher. This school year will mark my ninth year of teaching and my sixth year at Kittredge Magnet School. I love it here at KMS and I will do my best to make sure that you do as well. At my previous elementary school, I taught all subjects to fourth graders. 

I was born and raised here in Decatur, Ga . I am the youngest of three siblings (older brother and sister). I am the excited new aunt to two beautiful twin girls: Amirah and Rylee. I am a proud graduate of the DeKalb County School District. After finishing high school, I went to The University of Georgia. I graduated from The University of Georgia with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (GO DAWGS!). I earned my Gifted Endorsement, through an amazing opportunity with the DeKalb County School District. I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Master's degree In Curriculum & Design. 

I am looking forward to being a partner in your child's education. We are going to have a great year!
