Violin
The violin is the most well-known and popular instrument in the string family. The smallest and highest in pitch, it is the beautiful soprano voice of the string family. Many famous composers have written for violin, and many were violinists, including Vivaldi, Strauss, and Paganini. Incredibly versatile, violins can be heard soaring above the orchestra, leading a string quartet, playing a toe-tapping Irish jig, pulling at the heartstrings in a passionate gypsy melody, or playing pop dubstep.
Size
4Strings has a range of violin sizes to suit preschoolers to adults. Having the right size violin is important. If you can't come in person to check which size is best for you, the sizing chart below will give a good indication. If you're borderline, it is generally best to opt for the smaller size.
