The above fitness standards apply to cadets in Phase 1, to include all new cadets. Please match your age and gender with the standards for each physical event.
Sit & Reach: Measured in centimeters (cm) using a fitness sit and reach box.
Curl Ups: Otherwise known at “Sit Ups”. Max repetitions performed in one minute, timed.
Push Ups: Max repetitions, paced at one repetition every three seconds, not timed.
*This is NOT a pass / fail test for the Cadet Recruits first promotion. They only need to set a baseline for themselves. The Cadet must pass during their promotion from a Phase I Cadet to a Phase II Cadet to earn a Healthy Fitness Zone Certificate good for six months.
