How to reach Banaras Hindu University

Airport to the University can be reached by Ola or Uber. Local taxis are also available at the Arrival hall of airport and the charges should be between Rs. 800-1000.

Varanasi Cantt. (BSB) or Banaras (BSBS) Railway station to University: Auto fair: sharing cost on three-wheelers to BHU main gate (Lanka gate) is Rs. 30/- per person; reserved full auto costs Rs. 150-200. The drop location of these autos is at BHU main gate (Lanka gate).

Deen Dayal Upadhya Railway station (DDU) (old name- Mugal Sarai) to University: Sharing cost on three-wheelers to the BHU main gate is Rs. 60/- per person; reserved full auto cost Rs. 350-500/- The drop location of these autos is at BHU main gate (Lanka gate).
