LOD

LODs are required to receive care for injuries or illnesses occurring while on IDT, Drill, or AD status. LODs are also required to process MEB packets. The ill or injured Soldier must alert their commander an injury or illness has occurred. Use the below guide to help navigate through the LOD process. Also below there is a blank DA Form 2173 and AR 600-8-4 the regulation that governs LODs.
