Squad Qualifications
Basic Clone Training (BCT)
Basic Clone Training is the core program upon which every trooper’s abilities are built. This course introduces all members to Arma fundamentals and the operational procedures of the 41st Elite Corps. Troopers learn the essential skills, expectations, and battlefield behaviors required to function effectively within the unit. Completion of BCT establishes the foundation for all future qualifications and serves as the gateway to every advanced training course.
The 41st offers two versions of BCT, depending on a trooper’s prior experience:
BCT 1.0 — Full Introductory Course
Designed for new players to Arma 3 or troopers who have not participated in any Starsim unit for over a year. This course covers the full training pipeline from the ground up to ensure a strong foundation.
Reward: Promotion to Clone Trooper (CT)
Requirements: None
BCT 2.0 — Recap / Transfer Course
A condensed version intended for transfers coming from another Starsim unit within the last 12 months. This course reviews core procedures and ensures troopers can transition smoothly into 41st operations.

Heavy Gunner
This specialized training focuses on the effective utilization of heavy automatic weapons such as the Z-6 Rotary Blaster and the Valken (coming soon). Troopers will learn how to employ these powerful weapons within a fireteam to provide formidable firepower.
Reward: Grants access to the Z-6 Rotary Gun, DC-15 SAW

Rocket Trooper (Anti-Tank)
Rocket Trooper training equips our troopers with the skills necessary to operate the RPS-6 Unguided Rocket Launcher and the PLEX Guided Rocket Launcher (coming soon). Additionally, troopers will learn how to identify enemy armor and exploit their weak points effectively.
Reward: Grants access to the RPS-6 and the Anti-Tank (AT) Kit
Requirements: Basic Clone Training (BCT)
Marksman
This course hones the marksmanship skills of our troopers, teaching them how to effectively use weapons like the DC-15A-LE for long-range engagements. Troopers will also learn terrain utilization for tactical advantage and accurate target marking on the map.
Reward: Grants access to the DC-15A-LE and the Marksman Kit

Close Quarters Combat (CQC)
In CQC training, troopers are prepared for urban environments, learning efficient building clearing techniques in a buddy team setting. Special emphasis is placed on the capture of High-Value Targets (HVTs) without causing harm and the soon-to-be-introduced shotgun.

Grenadier
Grenadier training equips troopers with the knowledge and skills to effectively use the underslung grenade launchers on the DC-15A-GL. Graduates of this course gain access to the DC-15A-GL, the Grenadier Kit, and have the opportunity to pursue Joint Tactical Air Controller (JTAC) training.

Joint Tactical Air Controller (JTAC)
The Joint Tactical Air Controller course trains troopers in advanced communication and air-support coordination. Troopers learn how to operate on Long Range (LR) frequencies, interpret and deploy colored smoke for signaling, mark Landing Zones (LZs), and properly request med-evacuations. This qualification prepares troopers to serve as the critical link between ground forces and supporting air assets.

Engineer
The Engineer course trains troopers in frontline support, light construction, and field repairs. Troopers learn how to deploy small fortifications-such as cover positions, sandbags, and barricades-repair damaged Republic vehicles and emplacements, and maintain defensive positions during sustained engagements. Engineers ensure that squads remain fortified and combat-ready in any environment.
Reward: Access to Light Engineering Tools and Small Fortifications, DP-23 shotgun and DC-15C

Combat Engineer
The Combat Engineer course focuses on heavy construction, demolitions, and battlefield ordnance. Troopers are trained to deploy large fortifications, place and disarm explosives, breach hardened structures, and safely operate or set up mortars, artillery pieces, and other heavy emplacements used in Starsim operations. Combat Engineers serve as the unit's specialists for obstacle clearing, battlefield shaping, and establishing major defensive positions.
Reward: Access to Demolitions, Heavy Fortifications, mortar/Artillery Setup, and Advanced Engineer Tools. Advanced Engineer tools, DP-23 shotgun, and DC-15C

Combat Life Saver (CLS)
The Combat Life Saver course trains troopers to provide essential frontline medical care and stabilization during active engagements. CLS-qualified troopers are equipped to keep their squad in the fight by managing bleeding, administering basic treatments, and maintaining casualties until a Combat Medic arrives to perform advanced medical interventions. Combat Life Savers are a critical link between the injured and the medics who can fully treat them, ensuring squads can endure the harsh conditions of the battlefield.

Squad Medic
The Squad Medic course trains troopers to perform the most advanced forms of medical intervention and mitigation available on the battlefield. Operating through a layered system of advanced medical procedures, this course reinforces the critical importance of medics both during combat and in all supporting roles. Squad Medics serve as the backbone of the infantry, ensuring their squad can operate at peak effectiveness through the highest level of medical capability and care.
