Winter is one of the original founders of the 41st Elite Corps and one of the cornerstones of its legacy in the Star Sim community. Beginning his journey in 2018 with the 501st Legion and later serving in the 212th Attack Battalion—where he first took to the skies as a Star Sim pilot—he would go on to refine his technical skill within the 91st Recon Corps before ultimately establishing the 41st Elite Corps with his friends.

As the original founder and first Commanding Officer of Nexu Wing, Winter built the foundation of the 41st’s aviation identity—designing operational standards, training programs, and immersive flight styles that became a hallmark of the unit. After a brief hiatus, he returned to serve as Executive Officer of Nexu. 

After years of being a dedicated pilot, Winter decided to move on to ground reconnaissance by founding the the Drexl Rangers, a detachment comprising of Scout Troopers that provide forward recon for Wombat elements. 

His contributions include the development of the 41st Auxiliary Mod, implementation of multiple training frameworks, and years of innovation that continue to shape the Corps’ realism and immersion standards.

Beyond the Star Sim, Winter is a US Navy Veteran (serving as a Master at Arms), holds a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Operations, and is perusing his life long dream of becoming a real pilot, one day hoping to make it to the legacy airlines. Winter has a deep interest and passion for aviation and history, in particular WWII/20th Century, he speak Spanish at a informal conversational level, and enjoys building Lego Star Wars sets!
