The house was built in 1966. Although the owner has no knowledge of lead-based paint in the home, Section 1018 of the Residential Lead-Based Paint Hazard Reduction Act of 1992 requires that tenants be given an EPA-approved pamphlet "Protect Your Family From Lead In Your Home" and sign an EPA-approved Disclosure Form prior to leasing any house built before 1978.

The house has been and is currently managed by the owner, who will be selecting the new tenant. Management is expected to be transferred to a Chapel Hill property management company by summer 2024.
