At 3D Player, we believe your media and viewing habits are strictly your business. This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle your data, emphasizing that our app is designed to process your media securely and directly on your Apple devices.
To provide you with seamless playback and 3D conversion, 3D Player requires certain on-device permissions.
Local Network Access: Required to discover and stream media from your local Mac, Plex, or Jellyfin servers over your home network.
Photos and Files Integration: We request access to your Apple Photos library and the iOS Files app solely to let you browse and play your own video files.
On-Device Processing: All 2D to 2.5D or 3D video conversions are performed locally using the hardware on your iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV. We never upload, process, or store your personal videos on external servers.
3D Player acts as a bridge to your existing media libraries, meaning you remain in control of your data.
Plex and Jellyfin: When connecting to these personal media servers, data transmission occurs directly between your app and your server. We do not intercept, collect, or store your server login credentials or viewing history on our own servers.
Apple Ecosystem: Accessing files via iCloud Photos or the Files app is governed by Apple’s standard privacy terms and security protocols.
We are committed to keeping your digital footprint as minimal as possible.
No Data Sales: We do not collect, share, or sell your personal information, viewing habits, or media metadata to advertisers or any other third parties.
Anonymous Crash Reports: If you have opted into sharing analytics with developers via your Apple device settings, we may receive anonymous crash logs. These contain no personally identifiable information and are used strictly to fix bugs and improve app performance.
