Balloon Dog by Jeff Koons

• Contemporary artist Jeff Koons was born 1955. 

• Creates art that looks like everyday objects, such as inflatable toys, play-doh and porcelain knickknacks. 

• He is considered a Neo-Pop artist, which is a group of artists that look to the Pop Art movement for inspiration. 

• November 12, 2013, the Balloon Dog (Orange) sculpture sold at an auction for US$58.4 million. It was the most expensive work by a living artist sold at auction. 

First Generation by Chong Fah Cheong

This is one of a series of 4 sculpture installations found in Singapore's Central Business District that show the early days of life in Singapore. The series is called "People Along The River" by Chong Fah Cheong in 2000, an esteemed Singapore sculptor and Cultural Medallion award winner. 

BIRD by Fernando Botero

Located outside UOB Plaza 

• Made entirely of bronze, this sculpture by the renowned Colombian artist Fernando Botero. 

• Installed at the Singapore River in 1990.

• The sculpture represents peace, serenity and joy.

• Botero also has other sculptures at the St Regis Hotel and Parkview Square.  

Singapore Soul by Jaume Plensa

Located outside Ocean Financial Centre (Raffles Place MRT)

• Created by Spanish artist Jaume Plensa. 

• It symbolically represents the cultural unity and harmony of different ethnic groups in Singapore.
