For My Evidence Series I wanted to use camera distortions and lighting to obfuscate subjects. Most of the photos in this series use High ISO and some more practical effects achieved by drawing on plastic  wrap with a sharpie and placing it over the camera lens. all of the photos in this series are blurry, covered in static and/or  some way. The evidence this series captures is evidence solely within the photo itself, if the subjects of these photos where viewed in the moment that the picture was captured it would not physically exist there. I took purposefully distorted photos so I could attempt to find something within the photos during the editing process. I really had a lot of fun with this concept, I tried to choose a few scenes to work with, in each scene i tried to play with different types of distortion within each photo, and to include at least one photo with a human subject. photos might not be entirely clear in what they are but that is the point of the series, the response each photo invokes in the viewer however is up to them. The progression of the series is not based on a narrative but instead is an organization of locations and styles mostly going from blurriest to clearest. This was a really experimental series for me, and while there were many things I could have done differently I am happy with how it turned out.
