Introduction
Snom is often overlooked as an LC pokemon because of it's poor typing and near non existent movepool. It doesn't help that it's never found any type of success anywhere at all. However this is 35 pokes we are talking about, it's going to find a niche somewhere.
Snom can be a very effective wall against the many special attacking water types in the tier, mainly the omnipresent choice scarf Remoraid, which is notorious for being really hard to switch into. It's also great into lotad, wooper, and clamperl.
Snom is a mixed wall that can while handle those mentioned special threats, can also crucially handle toedscool by resisting both of it's stabs and hitting it 4x super effective with stab ice, and inkay by eating a hit and killing back with 4x effective bug stab.
Despite snom having to handle arguably a lot of offensive threats, it can keep healthy with rest talk, which is enough to barely keep up with many of these threats. While this all seems good on paper, you have to keep in mind you are still using snom. You are going to need hazard removal for it's poor typing, and you will need to conserve health on snom to keep these threats in check.

Team Options
Snom fits best on teams that need a check to remoraid and inkay. Because of presence of stealth rock,
and that Snom needs stealth rocks to chip down the mons its checking, toedscool is an excellent partner.
Toedscool can both remove and set stealth rocks for Snom, and it also doesnt really like these explosive
threats sitting in front of it, which Snom can switch into and handle. Ironically, water types like Remoraid, Wooper,
and clamperl serve as good teamates to take advantage of Snom's checks. Ponyta
itself could also take advantage of opposing choice locked ponytas and punish them with flash fire.
Physical attackers like Crogunk, and Mincinno can threaten snom very easily which makes physical
walls an important partner for Snom. Corsola-Galar is an excellent partner for this reason, as it
can wall these threats and also use stealth rocks to save a moveslot on Toedscool. Hippopotas
is another solid partner who can wall these threats and make rocks, with the added
bonus of having access to Slack Off. It's not perfect though, Snom does like the
chip damage from sand, but doesn't like chip damage from sand rocks and eating
hits stacking up against it. You are also stacking ground types by using this
alongside toedscool, this isn't purely a bad thing however. Stored Power
Inkay is a great partner because it can chunk or kill a croagunk after boosting
from contarary superpower. Generally Snom and Inkay pair well together,
especially this set. Another good offensive pokemon you could pair with
Snom is belly drum cetoddle. Cetoddle is checked by the water types in the tier,
so it really appreciates Snom's ability to wall them all, and in return you have a
really scary sweeper which can be sort of difficult to answer.
