Typhon is a frequent tournament organizer, and a well respected community member. He is often responsible for running the day one viability rankings, helping create majority of the community resources such as sample teams and other such, and assisting with 35's social media efforts. He also helps keep the mod team on schedule with council seating votes, tournaments, smogon thread posts, and a lot more. He's one of the best players here, himself having won the January24 tournament, and getting second place to top cut in several others. Typhon is also known for hosting majority of the important larger tournaments, in addition to the regular monhtly ones, such as the 35 pokes premier leagues.
Essence is the creator of the 35 pokes website and is also one of the four tier leaders. She leads nearly every past meta resource project, and is the primary contributor behind most of the content featured on this site. Essence also manages 50% of the monthly Viability Rankings while keeping the contributor teams organized and on-track. She Is very community involved, often hosting events, creating meta reveals, games, and other similarly fun things which help make 35 Pokes a cool place to be.

They help with the early month Viability Rankings, as well as write Analysis's for pokemon.
Though it is arguably not hard to become a lanista, you do have to be consistent to keep it.
