Why do you do PTA?
To be part of something great that believes in supporting children and families. I enjoy supporting and growing future leaders who will support and carry on the mission of PTA.

About me!
I am the 34th District PTA Parliamentarian, and the Treasurer for Santa Clarita Valley Council PTA. I work full-time as a paralegal but enjoy volunteering more! My three children are now adults, and no longer in elementary or secondary schools, but you don't have to have children in school (or children at all) to be a part of PTA and to make a difference in the life of children and families.

Why do you do PTA?
To follow in my Mother's footsteps, she was always so involved in my school growing up and I wanted to continue that legacy.

About me!
I'm a mother to 4 children, ages 16 to 5! I love everything Disney, even got married there. We love to travel the US, our most recent trip was to Alaska where we rented a car to get around and stayed in Air B&Bs. I have a goal to take the kids to all 50 states and all of the National Parks. I'm also a Girl Scout Leader.

About me!
I’ve been with my husband for 20 years, and even though he’s my complete opposite, we balance each other out perfectly. Together, we have three amazing kids: Ashton (15), Benji (13), and Dakota (8) which makes us a true ABCD family. 💙
Outside of family life, I’m a full-time Realtor, and I also serve as Director of Sponsorships for Dakota and Benji’s Albion soccer team. Between work, PTA, and soccer, I stay busy, but if you’re looking for me, there’s a good chance you’ll find me at the soccer fields cheering from the sidelines. ⚽️
I’m a simple soul when it comes to treats so give me a Coke Zero and a bag of Funyuns, and life is good. 🥤✨ Our household is nut-free because Dakota has life-threatening tree nut allergies, and I’m deeply committed to making sure she always feels safe, included, and like any other kid. Advocacy in this area has become a big part of who I am, and it’s one of the many reasons I feel so connected to the work of PTA.
Some of the most meaningful friendships in my life Kristy, Nina, and Tara came through PTSA. They’ve become part of my chosen family, and they hold such a special place in my heart and in my kids’ lives too.
Fun fact: I cry at TikToks and TV shows on the regular and it doesn’t take much to pull at my heartstrings! 💕 More than anything, though, I believe I was meant to advocate for kids. When it comes to protecting and uplifting them, I have no fear and no hesitation. I’ll always be the voice saying: I got you!

Why do you do PTA?
I do PTA because I believe every child deserves a strong support system, inside and outside the classroom. Being involved gives me the chance to help build community, support teachers and make sure families feel connected. PTA is my way of giving back, staying involved, and helping to create the best possible environment for our kids to grow.

About me!
I love to volunteer! I’m passionate about building community, creating opportunities for growth, and making a positive impact wherever I can...hopefully with a few laughs! I enjoy spending time with family and friends, sharing good food and making memories that keep my life meaningful. I have a heart for the special needs community and I am an advocate for their needs. I like to inspire and encourage others while enjoying the simple moments that make life great.

Why do you do PTA?
Like many PTA parents, I got roped in by a friend! I didn't know if PTA was for me, so I started out small with the role of historian. I quickly realized that PTA is for everybody, and that it is an amazing way to serve my community and help build parent-school relationships! My second year in PTA I became a unit president, and then jumped right in to council and district my third year. I adore all of the friends that I have met along the way, and I feel honored to serve with so many lovely people helping their communities!

About me!
I have three boys - Gordy (9th grade), Wally (6th grade), and Henry (3rd grade). No girls! I love being the queen of my household 😍 My husband is an amazing animator, which is what brought our family from Utah to Southern California. I graduated with a degree in Special Education, but since I was pregnant with my oldest when I graduated I never have taught in a classroom. Still, I am passionate about education, making schools the best that they can be, and offering all students the opportunities that they need to help them learn and grow!
