Money for members:
The Money for Members challenge awards cash prizes to units that add new members. Here's how it works: In March and again in April, each unit that collects five additional members for that month will be entered into a drawing with CAPTA to win one of three prizes: $500, $300 and $200.
Each month is a separate contest, with a total of $1000 in prizes awarded each month. To be eligible, your unit must be in good standing as of the first day of the month for which you are entering. To enter the contest, remit at least five new members through channels to the California State PTA Office by 11:59 PM on March 31,2021 (for March), or by 11:59 p.m. on April 30, 2021 (for April).
Free Convention Registration
Win one of 10 free registrations to Convention 2021! Any unit that signs up at least five new members in March or April through the TOTEM e-membership system will be entered into a drawing with CAPTA to win one of five free convention registrations each month.
This is also two separate contests - one for March, and one for April, with a total of 10 free registrations being awarded. To be eligible, your unit must be in good standing as of the first day of the month for which you are entering. To enter the contest, remit at least five new members through TOTEM by 11:59 PM on March 31, 2021 (for March), or by 11:59 p.m. on April 30, 2021 (for April).
March Madness
Don't forget about checkpoint #6 on the CAPTA Membership Drive Challenge! For March, we challenge you to add at least eight more male members to your PTA. If you do, you'll be entered into a drawing to win a PTA sandwich board sign for your school!
Submit your memberships through channels by March 31, 2021, and submit your completed application to the California State PTA office by April 5, 2021. You can find the application here.
