Personal Property Inbound/Outbound Shipments (Household Goods/Whole Baggage)

The Personal Property Processing Office (PPPO) is located on the first floor of the Soldier Support Center, Building 3400, Room 119 (corner of Barfoot Avenue and 16th Street).

Operating Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, Closed Saturday/Sunday and Federal Holidays

Appointments/Walk-In/Online Counseling

You must have a hard copy of your official military orders to schedule a counseling appointment with the Passenger and Personal Property Office (PPPO) to ship your household goods. If this is your first or final move, you must physically visit the PPPO to coordinate your move. Please contact 804-734-4449 or 804-734-4187 to speak to help desk personnel.

Utilizing Defense Personal Property System (DPS)

Log on to WWW.MOVE.MIL to register for a DPS account. This site is where you will process the application to create your shipment. Once this step is complete, you can schedule your counseling appointment to secure the dates you wish for your property pickup.
