A Father's Love
A promise unbroken as of yet. You wish to see HER again, yet your own fear of her safety and misrecognition keeps you away.

I... I want to see HER again.
Are you certain? It's not necessarily a good time for it yet.
I made a promise long ago. I'd be there to keep her safe from anything and everything. I want to bring her here.
This site is a far cry from being child-friendly. For one, there's still the Sarkics, and HE would find a way to get to you through her.
I know. Wishful thinking more than anything.
You could also just go visit. Christmas is coming up. The question is, would you go as Polk or Paragon?
What kind of question is that? We're the same.
Paragon went to the wedding. Said everything was alright, and Sash was doing fine, just busy with paperwork as a Lieutenant. Polk wouldn't. He'd say the truth. Sash is gone, and you're not doing fine. They already saw you without an eye. They don't know about the limbs. You kept those covered by a jacket and gloves.
They can't know. As far as they know, I still do field work, and Sash is stationed in Germany permanently due to an injury.Â
Very well. Speak with Cypress. Tell her you're going. You still have that cabin key?
Of course I still have it. Where would it go? I certainly wouldn't get rid of it.
Host something there. It's yours, after all. A relic of your parents and grandparents. Your daughter will recognize her father. You were with her long enough for her to know who you are. Remember you.
I know... I just hope she isn't mad.
She is 5 and in Kindergarten. She knows you'll come back. You always do.
Is she in Kindergarten? Jesus... I really did miss out... 2 whole years...
Time flies when you're constantly under the pressure of death. 73 didn't even give you a chance to go. You have that chance now. Keep that promise of yours.
I plan on it.
