The snorkel is pretty simple. It's easier to show the completed snorkel off the machine in a few pictures and you can copy it from that. start at the air box and work your way forward.
I use ABS pipe as it is what is readily available here in Canada. If you have access to PVC pipe feel free to substitute for that, don't forget the correct cement.
There are several vent hoses that need to be re-routed:
I prefer to run new vents from each item all the way to the top of the snorkel. But you CAN buy connectors and just add onto the existing stock vents that exit in front of the gas tank if you wish.
Carb Drain - Install and 2nd check valve on the carb drain and leave it in stock location.
Di-electric Grease - Install on every connector, including the spark plug cap.
From Airbox:
You may paint the pipes with any paint that bonds to plastic. Mine was done with bed liner but being ABS is already black anyway.
Snorkel instsalled without the fender.
Crankcase Breather running to handlebars
Breather Tube looped at handlebars, heading back towards airbox
Hole drilled in airbox to accept the vent tube. Use RTV silicone around the tube on both side to seal.
Rear diff and carb vents
Vent lines ran up front first, fender not installed for easy routing
Fender installed and Riser is in place
Finished. Widened out the snorkel hole in fender on one side to make room for vents beside the riser.
