2nd Chester le Street Scout Group

Welcome to 2nd chester le street scout group

2nd Chester-le-Street Scout Group is a thriving and growing Scout Group based in Chester-le-Street, County Durham. We are proud to provide adventure, challenge and personal development opportunities for young people through our Beaver Colony, two Cub Packs and two Scout Troops, meeting across five evenings each week at our home in Waldridge Village Hall.

Our unique location allows us to make regular use of nearby Waldridge Fell, bringing the outdoors into our programme and giving young people opportunities to explore, learn and develop new skills in a natural environment. Across all sections, we deliver a varied and engaging programme including outdoor activities, camping, hiking, pioneering, community projects, teamwork, leadership development and practical life skills.

The adventure doesn't stop on meeting nights. Throughout the year, our members enjoy a wide range of additional activities, day events, camps and residential experiences, creating lasting memories, building confidence and helping young people gain skills for life.
