Dr. Dinesh Mohan (1945-2021) was a world-renowned road safety expert. More details on his valuable contributions to the society and scientific community are available on the wikipedia page (Dinesh_Mohan).

Our program initiative remembers him to especially reinforce the values of Kindness, Compassion and Humanism that he practiced— and professed—to scale unprecedented heights and push the frontiers in the science of Road Safety and Transportation Planning in India and around the world.

As Prof. Geetam Tiwari writes:

DM often started his technical presentations with a quote by M K Gandhi:“Action without knowledge is useless and knowledge without action is futile”.
