Christopher and Dr. Christen Lee founded 2540 Ministries with the heart to see underserved and unreached communities come to know Jesus. That simple heart led to the mission of partnering with local churches to bring Christian education and discipleship to underserved and unreached communities—for God’s glory, in truth against false gospels, and to see redeemed people restore their communities in Christ.

How did that mission become the vision of the Lee family?

In 2012, Christopher and Christen became serious about their courtship and marriage. Our foundation has been and always will be Christ. On one of our pre-marriage dates, we were in the woods taking a stroll, discussing the matters of the Kingdom of God. We promised our household would be marked by His work, not our own.

July 20, 2013, two lives became one to serve the Lord wherever He may call.

Dr. Christen Lee, who holds a plurality of advanced degrees in education, has faithfully served the Lord in the field of education. Her qualifications have given her access to the inner life of everyday communities, where tribulations are real.

Rev. Christopher Lee, a former teacher and Pastor, has faithfully served in two churches and, most recently, taught at a local street school. Through the qualification of hard work, he has access to the inner life of communities facing tribulations.

Having these experiences, God also placed His heart into our hearts. Our mission, though it happened unexpectedly through some trials, such as closing churches and personal battles, the Lord is faithful to have given us this calling.

We are not rich; we sometimes have no clue how we are going to do what God calls for, but we are a simple family, taking up the cross to follow Christ.

2540 Ministries is the heart of Christ that was given to a small family who carries this cross with the joy of the Lord.
