The Star Level Program is the main training program carried out by all Royal Canadian Army Cadet corps within Canada. There are 5 levels. The following section provides links to the QUALIFICATION STANDARD AND PLAN and Instructional Plan for each level.
All new recruits begin at the Green Star level. The Green Star level gives cadets the introductory knowledge and practical experience required to participate in corps activities as a member of a team.
Green star cadets progress on the Red Start level. The Red Start level gives cadets the basic theoretical knowledge and practical experience required to participate in cadet corps activities as a team member.
Red Star cadets progress towards the Silver Star level. The silver star level gives cadets the theoretical knowledge and practical experience required to participate in corps activities and appointments as a team leader.
Silver Star cadets progress towards Gold Start level. The Gold Star level gives cadets the theoretical knowledge and practical experience required to participate in corps activities and appointments as a team leader
Gold Star cadets progress towards the Master Cadet level. The Master Cadet level gives cadets the theoretical knowledge and practical experience required to participate in corps activities and appointments as an activity leader.
