Virtual Reality

Thanks to our partnership with Transfr VR, students have the opportunity to actually do a variety of jobs, such as changing oil, power tool safety, and install solar panels.

Materials:

• Transfr VR headsets, controllers and cases (note: each headset and controller as specifically paired to each other and have a designated case)

• TV screens with Chromecast (as applicable)

• Sanitizing wipes

Activity Flow:

• Familiarize students with proper usage of headsets and controllers (how to fit headsets and use of wrist straps).

• Walk students through their general experience. Give them instructions to complete 1-2 experiences.

• Once students are done, direct them to place the headsets in the appropriate case to be wiped down for the next user.

Wipe down headsets and controllers between uses.

Monitor power levels of in-use headsets. Switch out with charged units, as needed.

Monitor student behavior.

• Comfortable shoes.
