This literature piece is a famous collection of Persian, Indian, and Arabian folktales. Supposedly, the legendary Scheherazade told these stories to her husband the sultan, a different tale every night for 1,001 days. a notable story included is about The King Shahryar of Persia being betrayed by his first wife who has taken another lover. In a rage, Shahryar kills her and all those responsible for her crimes.
