Come get crafty while satisfying your sweet tooth! Join us one afternoon a month for sweet treats and a surprise craft activity. Can't make it? Stop by the Children's Desk to ask if we have supplies left after the program!

For grades 6-12
Want to learn how to become your favorite character but don't know how to start? In this club, you'll learn some of the basic sewing skills you'll need to start making and altering your own costumes, and you'll even learn how to make some foam/cardboard armor. Each week we'll build on the skills we learned at the previous session. No prior cosplay or sewing skills are necessary.

This unique experience uses the gently, immersive sounds of crystal singing bowls to help you unwind and find a sense of inner calm. Join guest presenter Paula Kauffman Oberly from PKO Counseling this summer for a peaceful and restorative sesion to recharge. Please bring a yoga mat or towel.

Need some help picking out your next Summer Learning read? Love talking to you friends about your favorite books? This club is for you! We're starting off with the graphic novel, How to Talk to Your Succulent by Zoe Persico. This sweet story is for fans of Roller Girl and Raina Telgemeier. Stop by the Children's Desk to pick up your copy to read before the first meeting!

Join Miss April from Splat! Art Studio for a class where we will explore different materials to make a mixed media canvas with lots of layering and lots of creative freedom! We'll be using paint, pastels, paper, glue, and a variety of 3-D elements, such as buttons, beads, wooden shapes, etc. All materials will be provided.

Nature can be a strange place. Learn all about the weird and unusual things you may see outside with the Allegheny Park Rangers. We will meet behind the Oliver Miller Homestead by the Cascades. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle if you'd like.

This movie is rated PG-13 for Intense Science Fiction Terror. Parents and guardians should use their discretion as to whether it is appropriate for their children and will need to sign a permission slip for their child.

Learn all about the different types of weapons used in combat throughout history. Then, you'll get a chance to learn how to replicate some historically accurate (and totally safe!) fight techniques for theater. This program will be led by a certified theatrical fight combatant.
