About
We are pleased to announce the conference Stochastic PDEs in Fluid Dynamics and Beyond, to be held from May 25 to 29, 2026, in Nanjing, China.
This event aims to provide a platform for scholars, including early-career researchers, to exchange ideas and present their recent works in the area of stochastic partial differential equations (SPDEs). The conference will bring together researchers working on various aspects of SPDEs, extending beyond fluid dynamics to encompass a broad range of topics.
The conference is organized by Zdzisław Brzeźniak (University of York), Mario Maurelli (University of Pisa), Yulin Song (Nanjing University), Yimin Xiao (Michigan State University), and Fanhui Xu (Amherst College). It is hosted at Nanjing University, one of China’s oldest and most prestigious institutions of higher learning, renowned for its excellence in mathematics and scientific research. The university has four campuses—Xianlin, Gulou, Pukou, and Suzhou—each contributing to its dynamic academic community.
Located in the historic city of Nanjing, the university offers a blend of classical charm and modern infrastructure. As the capital of six ancient dynasties, Nanjing is rich in cultural heritage, with landmarks such as the Ming City Wall, Xuanwu Lake, and Purple Mountain. Today, it is a vibrant and welcoming city that combines deep historical roots with a thriving urban atmosphere, making it an inspiring setting for academic exchange and collaboration.
