Grab your quarters — we're going back to the 80s.

Kick off the 2026 at The Burl in Lexington's Distillery District for a Welcome party built for catching up with old friends and meeting new ones. Classic arcade cabinets, pinball, skee-ball, and that unmistakable neon-and-synth energy set the scene — all in a casual and relaxed atmosphere where the only agenda is having a good time.

We'll have quarters waiting when you arrive, drink tickets to start the evening off right (cash bar available), and pizza from Goodfellas to keep everyone fueled between games. Beginning at 5:40 PM, shuttles run continuously from the Host Hotel (Hilton Downtown Lexington) with a return loop until approximately 10 PM — come when you're ready and stay as long as you like.

Think you've got game? Keep an eye out for two featured machines with scorecards posted nearby. If your score tops what's on the card, write your name down and claim the lead. Top scores at the end of the night walk away with a gift card and the title of CRC Arcade Champion.

The President’s Luncheon is one of the signature gatherings of ASHRAE CRCs.

This luncheon brings all attendees and guests together for a shared meal and an opportunity to reflect on the work of ASHRAE across the region. Attendees will hear from ASHRAE leadership, recognize the importance of chapter service, and connect the work happening in Region VII with the broader direction of the Society. Whether you are a long-time ASHRAE volunteer or attending your first CRC, the President’s Luncheon is an important opportunity to pause, connect, and be reminded of the impact our chapters have across the built environment.

The Sponsor Showcase & Cocktail Hour is a dedicated time to connect with the companies and industry partners supporting the 2026 ASHRAE Region VII CRC.

Attendees are encouraged to visit sponsor displays, meet company representatives, learn about new products and services, and thank the organizations helping make this year’s CRC possible.

Additionally, we will have special raffle prizes for everyone who completes their Look It! punchcard.

"Questionable Decisions" puts your pop culture knowledge to the test with rounds spanning the 70s, 80s, and 90s — the decades that shaped us, scarred us, and gave us some truly inexplicable fashion choices. And because we can't help ourselves, a couple of ASHRAE-themed rounds are mixed in for good measure. Pick your team, lock in your answers, and compete to be the CRC Trivia Champion

When the last answer is tallied and the dust settles, Lexington's downtown is yours for the taking. The city has no shortage of great bars, live music, and late-night spots worth exploring — a fitting way to close out a night built around questionable decisions made confidently.

The Awards Luncheon is an opportunity to celebrate the people, chapters, and volunteers who make Region VII strong. This luncheon recognizes outstanding chapter achievement, volunteer leadership, service to ASHRAE, student engagement, research promotion, membership growth, technical excellence, and the many behind-the-scenes efforts that keep our chapters moving forward. Join us as we close out CRC by honoring the accomplishments of Region VII and celebrating the volunteers who continue to lead, serve, mentor, and inspire.
