Welcome to Lion City Cup 2026
The 2025 Participants gathered at the Kallang Active Sg Lawn Bowl Green for the official Opening Ceremony. A memorable start to the competition!
It gives Bowls Singapore, great pleasure to welcome, the teams from 11 countries to Singapore, to take part in this 2026 Lion City Cup. This is Singapore’s Premier International Lawn Bowls Championship for World Bowls ranking points and the competition as usual promises to be top class. Once again we are very pleased, that so many countries have been able to include under 25 players in their teams, which is a great indicator of the health and future growth of bowls in the region. We sincerely thank our Sponsors who have all contributed in some way to make it possible for Bowls SG to hold the tournament, a special thank you to our major sponsors, Lexian Electronics, VDL Enabling Technologies and Sport Singapore for it is their generosity and support that make the tournament possible. A very special thank you to Tanglin Club and Singapore Cricket Club for their ongoing support of Bowls in Singapore and use of their Club Bowls greens and facilities for the Lion City Cup.

The Lion City Cup provides a great opportunity for our local Singapore bowlers to meet and compete with renowned international bowlers from the overseas teams. The opportunity will definitely help them to develop their skills and experience in the sport of lawn bowls.
There are a great many hard working people who have contributed and need to be recognize for making the tournament possible. We really need to give a big vote of thanks to Hanafi Bohari, Edmund Lin, Tan Hwee Khoon, the members of the Organising Committee, the Officials and the many willing Volunteers for the great effort they are putting in, to organise and run this international lawn bowls championship.
I wish all bowlers success in the competition, that you take the opportunity to make and renew friendships with your fellow bowlers and most of all, enjoy the tournament. For the overseas bowlers, we wish you an enjoyable and memorable stay in Singapore and come back next year
