Know Before YOU Go

1)  How can I get from the airport to the Park MGM for the conference?  Check out the following document before you go.

3) Below is a list of suggested early morning daily walks with other sisters around out venue.  If you are an early riser and want to have some good conversation before the conference each day check out these walks.

4) Check out these fine art displays around the venue.  Most are located within  the Aria.  The Guide is a good way to see what is available around the area.

5) Here are some simple steps for ordering conference t-shirts whether you are attending or not attending the conference. The two on the right are glitzy.

6) Here are some suggested items to bring with you to Las Vegas. Check out the list and pack accordingly.

• Bring address labels with email/phone to exchange with sisters

• Business cards

• Bring items for Opportunity Village hands-on project; items include:  index cards, colored pencils, roller ball Sharpies (not felt tip), regular fine tip markers, ink pens, blank journals, blank cards, graduation cards for either high school or college, stickers, rolls of tape, and glue sticks. These supplies will be used to create projects for OV. Any leftover supplies will be donated to Las Vegas classrooms. 

• Something glitzy to wear on Glitz Day. 

• Bring money!  Make a donation for the cause and support Opportunity Village.

• What to wear:   Business casual for all events except the banquet which will be semi-formal/formal.  Bring a jacket or a sweater to wear inside the hotel and/or bring a lap blanket.  The air conditioning will be low so plan ahead to stay warm inside the conference hotel.

• Bring your water bottles to stay hydrated. There will be water stations to refill your water bottles. When you are in the desert, it’s important to stay hydrated.
