Dear Alaska Blades Families,

We’re thrilled to officially welcome the Alaska Blades to the 2026 Coast 2 Coast International Cup in beautiful Kelowna, British Columbia!

This premier international event runs June 17 - 21, 2026 for birth years 2015, 2016, and 2017, and we can’t wait to host your team.

Kelowna is a world-class destination on the shores of Okanagan Lake, known for its outdoor fun, food, and family experiences, and now, some great hockey too.

Although your team is already accepted into the event, we ask that each family complete an individual registration form through SportsEngine. This helps us gather all the necessary details to provide a world-class experience for every player.

Here’s WHY your individual registration is REQUIRED:

We have a record of your completed (photo release, waiver, player information, etc.) forms for your player to be eligible to participate in this tournament
To receive your confirmation email with more information on how to submit personalized player card info that will be featured on our social media pages
Eligibility for the All-Star Game & Skills Challenge
To get your spot in the Opening Ceremony (with 2 tickets, one for the player & one for a family member

How to Register

To secure your player’s spot, please follow these steps:

Visit our tournament website
Go to the Registration tab > Click “Player Registration” (not “Player Application”)
Choose “Week 1” for your birth year group (2015 -2017)
In the “Team Selection” dropdown, choose your player’s correct team and birth year (e.g., “2015 Alaska Blades”)
Enter the code BLADES2026 at checkout to waive the registration and GST fee.

You’ll receive a confirmation email within 5 - 7 days once registration is processed.

Opening Ceremony Dinner will take place on Wednesday, June 17th in the evening hours. Exact times are TBA. For more information regarding opening ceremonies event, please click on the Opening Ceremony's TAB.

**TOURNAMENT GAMES will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday of each event date, and will conclude by 4:00 p.m. on Sunday of each event date.**

The booking is now active and individuals are able to reserve their rooms with the booking instruction noted below:

Individual Call-In: Group block with rooms on hold, individuals to reserve their preferred room type and provide a personal credit card to confirm reservation. Direct reservations must be made prior to the cutoff date of March 31st, 2026, then unreserved rooms will automatically be released. Reservations made after the release date will be subject to availability and best available rate.

Individual Payment: Individual guests will be responsible for their own guestroom and incidental charges. All guestrooms must be guaranteed to your organization or a credit card. Credit card imprints will be required upon check-in for payment of all charges. Any cancellations will follow your group’s cancellation and attrition policies. A non-refundable prepayment equal to 50% of the room charges will be processed within 24–48 hours of making the reservation. If the payment cannot be processed due to an invalid credit card, the guest will be notified and the reservation will be canceled, as a valid credit card is required to secure the booking.
