Dear Distinguished Guests, Renowned Scholars, Industry Leaders, and Fellow Colleagues,

On behalf of the organizing committee, it is my distinct privilege and honor to welcome you all to The 31st BEST Conference & International Symposium on Biotechnology and Bioengineering at National Central University, Taoyuan. This year, we are thrilled to bring together a vibrant and diverse community of more than 300 passionate participants, all united by a shared commitment to advancing the frontiers of biotechnology and bioengineering.

Our comprehensive scientific program has been meticulously designed to inspire collaboration and ignite innovation. We are privileged to host two prestigious plenary speeches delivered by world-class visionaries who will set the tone for our discussions on cutting-edge technological shifts. Reflecting the critical bridge between academic discovery and commercial translation, the conference will feature three dedicated biotechnology industry forums, providing a vital platform to explore market trends, regulatory pathways, and industrial applications.

International synergy remains a cornerstone of the BEST conference. This year, we are proud to foster deep cross-border exchange by welcoming 12 eminent international scholars representing four distinct nations—Thailand, South Korea, Japan, and Malaysia—who will share their pioneering research and global perspectives. Complementing this international expertise, 22 of our distinguished domestic scholars will present their latest scientific breakthroughs, showcasing the robust strength and vitality of Taiwan’s local research ecosystem.

Equally vital to our mission is the nurturing of the next generation of scientific leaders. We are delighted to feature 50 student oral presentations and 120 poster presentations, offering our bright young scientists a prominent stage to share their creativity, build professional networks, and receive valuable feedback from established experts.
