• Traffic can be very busy in the mornings in this area, so we suggest leaving early/giving yourself plenty of time to reach the conference venue.

• Conference center is large and temperature control can be difficult. We recommend dressing in layers or bringing a sweater/jacket for your comfort.

Intended Audience

School nurses

Purpose

The purpose of this conference is to provide information for nurses on issues pertaining to school nursing. This includes etiology, diagnosis, treatment, symptom management, nursing care and expected outcomes.

Accreditation

9.0 nursing contact hours will be offered by Iowa School Nurse Organization and align with the appropriate subject matter found in Iowa Administrative Code 655 chapter 5.2(3). Full attendance is required to receive continuing education. 

Cancellation Policy

Refunds: Full refund (minus $25 cancellation fee) if notified on or before April 1, 2026. After this date, you are ineligible for a refund, but you may send a non-registered person in your place. We will do our best to accommodate specific dietary requirements that are noted at registration. Please note that we are accommodating food allergies and sensitivities, not preferences. If you have a severe medical need, you are welcome to bring your own food and drink to avoid any issues that may arise.
