Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of game theory (familiarity with signaling games), a bit of mathematical sophistication, and an ability to tolerate shallow references to other disciplines (philosophy and sociology).
Outline: I plan to describe strategic models of lying and deception. I will begin by providing definitions of the terms. I will then discuss specific situations in more detail. I do not expect to discuss all of the applications.
