Satellite Events

• Spec(Qbar)  - July 22nd, 6pm (organized by Renzo Cavalieri and Melody Chan)

A social event to gather mathematicians member of the LBGTQ+ , queer community and allies.  The plan is to gather at Avogadro's number  for a couple hours of talking and community building.  Folks interested in continuing the festivities can then proceed to the R bar  for a drag show.

• Pick-up Soccer  (organized by Sridhar Venkatesh) 

Casual soccer (football) games in the evenings during the conference, as a way for everyone to unwind and have fun! Please fill out this short form (https://forms.gle/nFo1eRkmuA4dbY4K8) as soon as you can. The plan is to play on whichever evenings we have enough people available, coordinating through either a mailing list or a Whatsapp group/discord server.

• Mountain hikes (organized by Bjorn Poonen)

Moderately strenuous hikes on Wednesday afternoons, and very strenuous high-altitude hikes on Sunday mornings.   For more details, or to sign up, fill out this form and then attend the organizational meeting on Mon July 14 (for week 1 hikes) and Mon July 21 (for week 2 hikes) at 7:00pm in the atrium outside Nutrien 140 on the CSU campus.

• Women and Gender Minority Social Gathering

Join us for a social gathering at Avogadro's number this Wednesday (July 30) evening. We'll meet at 5:30 PM outside the ballroom and walk over together as a group. This is an opportunity to connect with fellow women and gender minority participants. We look forward to seeing you there. The gatherings during weeks 1 and 2 were quite successful!
