Herzberg's Motivation-Hygiene Theory within Student Life
Herzberg’s Motivation-Hygiene Theory, also known as the Two-Factor Theory, can be meaningfully applied to student life, particularly within residential and campus environments. This framework helps explain the underlying factors that influence both student and Student Life employee satisfaction, motivation, and engagement. By understanding and addressing both sets of factors, institutions can better support the well-being, performance, and retention of both students and staff, ultimately fostering a more positive and effective campus environment.
