Abstract Review Process
All submitted abstracts will undergo double-blind peer review based on the following criteria:
Innovative Contribution
2. Relevance to the Conference Theme
3. Clarity and Logical Structure
4. Scholarly Impact
Guidelines
Maximum presentation time: 12 minutes, followed by a short Q&A.
Presenters must strictly follow the allotted time to avoid being cut off.
Presentations should include:
o Introduction
o Methods
o Results and Discussion
o Conclusion and Recommendations
Ideal slide count: 10 slides.
Attire: Casual is acceptable; formal is preferred.
Presenters are encouraged to personally deliver their presentations. If group, only one representative shall present.
Size: 2.45 ft (width) × 4 ft (height), portrait orientation
Material: Poster paper or tarpaulin
Include:
o Title, authors, affiliations, contact information
o Introduction / Background
o Methodology
o Results and Discussion
o Conclusion and Recommendations
o Citations and Acknowledgments
All graphs and visuals must be clearly labeled and easy to interpret.
Font Guidelines:
o Title: 78 pt (bold, uppercase)
o Authors: 72 pt (bold)
o Affiliations: 48 pt
o Email: 36 pt
o Body Text: 24 pt
o Citations and Acknowledgments – smaller font size may be used
Poster presenters must submit their physical poster upon registration.
Presenters must be present during their assigned schedule to explain their poster and answer questions.
Attire: Casual is acceptable; formal is preferred.
This category is open to currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students. Student poster presenters will follow general poster guidelines with the following additional requirements:
Eligibility: Only currently enrolled students are eligible. A valid proof of enrollment may be requested.
Labeling:
o Add “Student Poster Presenter” in the top-right corner of the poster.
Student Poster Competition:
o Must register as Student Poster
o Must be physically present during the assigned poster session.
