Receiving Credit for Volunteer Hours
At the end of the summer (once you're done volunteering), each CIT and Volunteer Counselor needs to provide me with their completed MHS 2026 - 2027 Community Service Form. Please complete all sections of the form except for the total hours - I’ll fill that in after reviewing your Verification of Volunteer Hours Form. You can either email the MHS form to me (RCorbin@moorestown.nj.us) or drop it off at the Church Street Recreation Center. Note: I will provide a link to the MHS 2026-2027 Community Service Form as soon as it becomes available from the school. Hard copies of the Verification of Volunteer Hours Form will be provided at each camp site.I will collect your Verification of Volunteer Hours Form directly from the camp(s) you supported. Please make sure to:- Fill out the Verification of Volunteer Hours Form each day you volunteer.
- Leave the form at the camp when you're done for the day.
- If you volunteer at more than one camp, fill out a separate verification form for each one - and again, leave it at the camp.
I’ll retrieve all verification forms after the camps end and use them to update your total hours on the MHS form. I will then email you scanned copies of the MHS form and the verification of hours form. You will need to provide both forms to the high school.For Volunteers Who Do NOT Attend Moorestown High School:
Once you have finished volunteering for the summer, please provide me with the appropriate form your school uses to document volunteer service. I’ll be happy to complete and/or sign it as needed to ensure you receive credit.Thanks,
