Individuals who previously served as CITs or volunteer counselors and who will be volunteering again this summer are not required to interview. However, they are welcome to schedule an interview if they would like to gain additional interview experience.
Candidates applying for paid counselor positions must complete an interview unless they served as a paid counselor in 2025.
If you have registered to serve as a CIT or volunteer counselor, please make sure you have completed the 2026 CIT & Volunteer Counselor Information Form before scheduling your interview. Teens applying for paid counselor positions, do not need to complete the information form but need to submit an employment application before scheduling their interview.
What to bring to your interview:
A positive attitude
A firm handshake
Good eye contact
At least two thoughtful questions about the summer camp program and/or the role you will be filling.
