Alia Caldwell
I am a 15-year-old freshman at Santa Fe High. I live in a family of 3 and have two dogs. I want to explore possible future interests and find something I am truly passionate about. I want to learn more about the parts of STEM that I am less comfortable with such as physics. I think this camp will allow me to expand my knowledge and become more confident in myself.
Alice Wilkins
My name is Alice Wilkins, and I am currently attending Santa Fe High as a freshman. I want to pursue a career in biological sciences, specifically biomedical engineering and bioengineering.They both come together into research that helps real people, from building prosthetics to developing medicines, to even studying stem cells to replace injured spines.
Arizona Chang
I attend Hilo High School. In intermediate school, I started to get seriously involved in VEX IQ robotics. The ability to create and manipulate a machine to do many different things was really what captivated me. In my 7th and 8th grade years, I continued my involvement with our robotics club and eventually became the club president. My dream job is to work at Boston Dynamics or some other robotic development company, because I find their journey to create and innovate such new and capable robots truly invigorating, and I would love to be a part of it.
Aubry Rodriguez
I am a 15-year-old student attending Pojoaque Valley High School who enjoys learning and staying active. I also love playing softball, volleyball, and cheering, which have taught me the value of teamwork and discipline. In middle school, I had the opportunity to join Tech Trek at NM Tech, where I learned about different careers in science, technology, engineering, and math. I want to to work with other students who share my interests, helping me to further develop my skills and confidence.
Ayva Dunbar
I am a 14-year-old eighth grade attending Edgewood Middle School. I love fantasy and high fantasy, and I love to play D&D. I also love to read and crochet. I am currently enrolled in Scouts of America, which provides me with many opportunities to learn leadership and teamwork skills. .One of my favorite things to do is brew tea. I find it to be very calming and meditative, with a delightful drink at the end. I also travel very often, having recently been to Japan, and a variety of places throughout my life.

I am an 8th grader in Albuquerque Academy. I moved to Albuquerque in 2018, and I previously lived in Madison Wisconsin for seven years. I currently take six ballet classes each week, and play cello in the HSCO orchestra. I am currently part of both our Science Olympiad team which went to nationals last year and a DnD club. I had recently just discovered how much I liked science in my 8th grade class

I am a ninth grader at Mandela International Magnet School. I have done research into sustainable energies and done a report on solar panels. These concepts thoroughly interest me and I would like to continue to advance and deepen my knowledge about them, so that possibly one day I can create a start to more environmentally friendly means of everyday life and energy usage.

I am 13 year old (soon to be 14) attending the ASK Academy. I like advanced math, though I just know the concepts. I think that they are very interesting. My current interests are coding, physics, and mushrooms. I like coding a lot. My coding language of choice is c++, though I do want to make a coding language. I think that I am getting pretty good at coding. I even coded a presentation that I had to do. I also like physics, who could have guessed.I want to be a video game coder. I want to start coding a game soon.

I’m 16 years old and attend Espanola Valley High School. My favorite color is purple, and I don’t have a particular favorite food. I have a interest in science and interest in learning about new things. I have always wondered how things work, whether it's building machines, programming software, or whatever. I am interested in business and music. I like to play the guitar, skate at the park, listen to music, watch tv, and spend time with friends.

I am a 16-year-old sophomore student attending Santa Fe Prep whose main interests are cats, skiing, school, and especially STEM.
So from a young age I have always had a curiosity around STEM and that’s exactly why I’m drawn to this camp, my hope is that I get to learn some new science and have fun playing around and maybe even meet some people who will inspire me to do and try new and different types of STEM, and advance my understanding of the world around me.

I love art, and I always have. I love every media I have worked with so far. This includes chalk pastels, water color, pencil, paint, collage, stained glass, and a few others. However my favorites so far have been felt and clay.

I will be a sophomore next year at the Mandela International Magnet School. I would like to study a STEM career in college because I enjoy mathematics and computer programming. Last year, I took second place in the JSTI Robotics Competition. I enjoyed working on my robot project and I was thinking of majoring in a STEM related career such as engineering. I am a self-motivated individual who needs a little bit of guidance to achieve my career goals in life.

I Homeschool and I enjoy working with my hands. I found photography to be very fun. I've also tried knitting and drawing although I have never gotten that good at it, but I hope to improve.
But creating isn't my whole personality. If you were to ask me how I would describe myself, I would describe myself as extroverted but sometimes shy, a good listener although sometimes I talk too much, helpful but not with everything, always asks why, good social skills, fast learner, and interested in the mechanics of things.

I am 15 years old, in ninth grade, attending Academy for Technology and the Classics and have lived in New Mexico for my entire life. Some of my hobbies are Magic the Gathering, Dungeons and Dragons, painting, playing video games, and trying new food. I have taken a liking to STEM subjects for my whole life. When I was little, I wanted to be a chemist, then an engineer, and after that, an astrophysicist. Something I would like to do in the future is study bioengineering or experimentation with stem cells to try and find a cure for cancer.

Since I was young, I have loved math and science and have explored many different opportunities. At age eight I joined Sisterhood of Native American Coders (SONAC) and Girls Who Code. In fifth and sixth grade, I participated in Rocket Club where we designed and built our own rocket and then launched it in front of our school and parents.

As a Navajo and Apache person, I pride myself in knowing who I am by knowing my clans and where I come from. I think that’s the best part of me is that I won’t be lost or forget who I am because of all the history that I carry. When I get to college I want to Major in Geology and Minor in Astrophysics.

I go to school at Carlsbad Early College High School in Carlsbad NM. In my free time, I like to do art. I like to create artworks of my new fixations through figure drawings and crochet. For example, in middle school, I used to draw animal people and now I draw more of my favorite video game characters. I learned to crochet during the summer between my 7th and 8th grade year and really enjoy making stuffed creatures and characters.

I am 14 years old, attend Hilo Intermediate and live on the Big Island of Hawaii. Being able to build something with your own hands that can help out people in many different ways is inspiring. I attend Santa Fe High School and have a very deep incentive to understand how physical science works. I would like to learn more about the way our universe works. This program is something that will benefit me, as it will help me get onto learning complex math, which as of now, is something I'm not rather fond of, but I want to learn. I belive this can help me see these things from a new angle, and make me less nervous to do complex math equations.

I attend Cottonwood Classical Preparatory School. Outside of my studies, I spent lots of time, stuffing myself with mysteries and playing basketball, and I have recently joined track as well in the off-season. Reading has always been a part of my life, even as a kid reading would turn quiet afternoon into an adventure. Basketball was my first love. The rush I feel on the court and moments I feel one with the ball make my joy in it.

I picked up on building small projects such as the project elevator, one lane bridge, designing my own puzzle cube game, making a website about myself and creating a 3D animation of my puzzle cube game. Another hobby I picked up this year was wrestling.But a few careers I am interested in are welding and biomedical science engineering. I am an open book interested in learning about anything.
