Checklist

Make sure you and your students have leave from your principal/board to attend the provincial showcase!

Book your accommodations

• When booking, say "Dramafest" to unlock discount pricing. ( Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn and Travellodge only)

Register your school

• Pay registration fees​: $75 per student. Cheques can be made out to “National Theatre School of Canada” & provided upon Registration/Arrival. 

Arrange transportation

• Book bus transportation to Gananoque (we recommend trying to double up with the other school from your region!)

• It may be significantly cheaper to have your bus return home than to keep it with you for the duration of the showcase. Not to worry! Everything is within walking distance!

• Arrange set transportation. There will be ample storage space as sea cans have been reserved for your storage needs.

Make a budget and apply for subsidies as needed

• Costs to consider: transportation, registration fee, accommodations, food

• To apply for a subsidy, please email Erika Kierulf at erikakierulf@ent-nts.ca and indicate the region you are from, how far you are travelling, how many rooms you are booking and at which hotel . We will calculate the amount we can offer you and provide you with a form to fill out in order to receive the subsidy as a direct deposit. Does your school not accept direct deposit? Not to worry, we can also mail a cheque!
