Fostering Collaborations: A Symposium to Advance Equitable Heat Health Actions
In March 2025, to host a symposium event focused on heat health and resilience in partnership with Boston University's School of Public Health's Center for Climate & Health.
The Symposium, held in June 2025, had over 100 attendees.

MAPC was awarded this grant from the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) to help pilot the deployment of non-grid tied charging solutions and expanded EV carsharing.
On Friday, December 5, MAPC was honored to receive the APA-MA Chapter's 2025 President's Award for our work on the creation of the Climate Resilience Playbook (created in partnership with the Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness Program and the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission).
The Climate Resilience Playbook (the Playbook) is an online interactive tool that local planners can use to identify and prioritize resilience actions for their communities.

MAPC received the 2025 Massachusetts Excellence in Technology Award for the Gateway Cities Apartment Wi-Fi pilot, alongside project partners at the City of Chelsea, Chelsea Housing Authority, City of Revere, Revere Housing Authority, City of Quincy, and the Quincy Housing Authority.
The award was presented at the 2025 MA Digital Government Summit (October 2025) by Executive Office of Technology Services and Security Secretary Jason Snyder.
