Prof. Saalbach is an internationally recognized expert on multilingualism, cognitive processing, and language's role in education, with research experience spanning MPI Berlin, ETH Zurich, and Beijing University. His work bridges theory and practice, informed by projects like Encoding-Specificity in Bilingual Content Learning (DFG-funded) and Emotion Vocabulary Development (DFG). A dynamic speaker and award-winning researcher, he regularly advises educators on effective language scaffolding and inclusive pedagogy.
Saalbach 教授為國際公認的多語言研究、認知處理及語言教育方法的專家,曾在柏林馬克斯·普朗克研究所(MPI Berlin)、瑞士聯邦理工學院(ETH Zurich)和北京大學從事研究工作。他研究結合理論與實務,並獲德國科學基金會(DFG)補助「Encoding-Specificity in Bilingual Content Learning (雙語內容學習中的編碼特定原則)」和「Emotion Vocabulary Development (情緒詞彙發展)」等研究計畫。其經常為教育工作者提供建議,推動有效的語言支架教學與包容性教育方法,為極具影響力的演講者和屢獲殊榮的研究學者。

義大利帕多瓦大學榮休教授,曾任國際期刊《Learning and Instruction》總編輯、歐洲學習與教學學會(EARLI) 會長
Professor Lucia Mason is Professor Emerita of Developmental and Educational Psychology at the University of Padua, Italy. A former Fulbright Scholar at the University of Georgia (USA) and recipient of the EARLI Publication Award, she also served as Editor-in-Chief of Learning and Instruction and as President of the European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction (EARLI). Her research has focused on learning from text, conceptual change, epistemic beliefs, digital reading, and the cognitive and affective processes involved in learning, using methodologies such as eye-tracking and physiological measures. Her last research interest regards the role of the school physical environment (indoor and outdoor) on students' cognitive performance and wellbeing. She has published extensively in leading international journals.
露西亞・梅森(Lucia Mason)教授是義大利帕多瓦大學(University of Padua)發展與教育心理學榮休教授。她曾任美國喬治亞大學的傅爾布萊特學者(Fulbright Scholar),並獲得歐洲學習與教學研究協會(EARLI)出版獎。她亦曾擔任《Learning and Instruction》期刊主編,以及歐洲學習與教學研究協會(EARLI)會長。她的研究重點包括文本學習、概念改變、認識論信念、數位閱讀,以及學習歷程中涉及的認知與情意歷程,並採用眼動追蹤與生理測量等研究方法。她近期的研究興趣聚焦於學校實體環境(室內與戶外)對學生認知表現與身心福祉的影響。她已在多本國際頂尖期刊上發表大量研究成果。
