The New Ministry Strategies Team of the Alabama-West Florida Conference is excited to announce that we will be hosting a group of interested clergy and laypeople to attend the Small Church Gathering in Kingsport, TN on Aug. 15-16, 2025.

Vibrant, healthy ministry is possible regardless of congregation size, and the United Methodist Church is full of congregations comprised of 50 or fewer members. The Small Church Gathering is United Methodist conference with the small-membership church in mind. Each of the four offered tracks will focus on issues unique to small membership churches or tackle elements of church health and life from the perspective of the small membership church.

Conference registration will be $99 (scholarships are available).

Housing arrangements will be made based on conference registration.

New Ministry Strategies is able to assist pastors in finding someone to fill their pulpits for this weekend, so that they can attend the full conference, if needed. Please indicate interest in this when you fill out the linked registration form.
