Q: When is the recital?

A: The recital is on Saturday, May 31st, with three shows at 11:00 AM, 1:30 PM, and 4:00 PM. Show orders are listed in the Dress Rehearsal and Recital tab, posted in the lobby, and on the paper sent home from the sizing appointment.

Q: When is dress rehearsal?

A: We will rehearse each show on a different day:

• Show 1 (11:00 AM) – Wednesday, May 28th

• Show 2 (1:30 PM) – Thursday, May 29th

• Show 3 (4:00 PM) – Friday, May 30th

All dress rehearsals begin at 5:00 PM with the finale, followed by the show order. For more details, visit the Dress Rehearsal tab.

Q: Where is the recital and dress rehearsal?

A: Both will be held at Marysville High School.

Q: Do dancers need to wear costumes for dress rehearsal?

A: Yes, but makeup and hair are not required. However, hair should be pulled back.

Q: Does my child need a bun or a low ponytail?

A: Dancers in Expressive Movement or combo classes must wear a bun. All other dancers should wear a low ponytail. Visit the Hair and Makeup tab for tutorials.

Q: Can I watch my dancer backstage?

A: For safety reasons, only authorized backstage volunteers and faculty are allowed backstage.

Q: When can I order tickets? 

A: Please visit the Tickets tab for details.

Q: How do I order a recital t-shirt?

A: Recital shirts are included with all-inclusive tuition. Additional shirts orders were placed during their sizing appointment. Unfortunately, extra shirts cannot be ordered at this time.

Q: We can't make it to dress rehearsal. What do we do?

 A: Dress rehearsal is very important for your dancer's confidence and preparation. Dress Rehearsal attendance is required, however, we do understand if there is an emergency or serious reason for a dancer to not be there. Please ensure you communicate with us if something arises. 

Q: Does my dancer need to wear makeup? 

A: Yes, female dancers are required to wear makeup for the recital. Stage lights can wash out facial features, so makeup helps enhance expressions on stage. However, makeup is not required for pictures.

Q: Where and when do I pick up my recital t-shirt?
A: Your child's recital t-shirt will be available for pick-up at their dress rehearsal. Please ensure they are present during the rehearsal to receive their shirt.

Q: What does my child wear for the Finale?
A: For the Finale, dancers are required to wear their Recital T-shirt and black bottoms. If your child is performing the last dance of the show, they will put their recital t-shirt over their costume for the finale performance.
