Established over 50 years ago, the University of Ulsan hosts some of the best and brightest minds in the country. It is in the top tier for higher education in South Korea and consistently ranks in the top 20 list of schools to study biology, chemistry, and material sciences. It also claims a place on the top 10 list of universities for studying medicine and life science in South Korea.

The University of Ulsan is located in Mugeo-dong. There are a variety of cafes, restaurants, and stores that meet the wants and needs of the people who work and/or attend classes on campus. Fuel yourself with coffee and tea at one of the coffee shops, grab a bite to tame your hunger, and after a long day you can reward yourself with a treat of your preference. You can find it all within walking distance of the campus's main entrance. 

If Mugeo-dong does not have what you want, you can easily hop on a bus to one of the main hubs of the city, Samsan-dong, where you can find Hyundai Department Store, Lotte Department Store, Upsquare Shopping Center, and plenty more cafes and restaurants to choose from.

From Ulsan (Tongdosa) KTX/SRT Train Station to Ulsan University there are two options:  

• Take a taxi using the address and map on the left side of this screen.

• Take the 5004 red bus.

Taking the taxi or 5004 will get you to the university in about 25 minutes.

From Ulsan Bus Terminal to Ulsan University there are two options:

• Take a taxi using the address and map on the left side of this screen.

• Take the 401, 432, 493, 712, 124, 417, 482, or 492 bus.

Taking the taxi or a bus will get you to the university in about 20-30 minutes.

From Busan's Nopo Subway Station to Ulsan University take either the 1147 red bus or the 1127 red bus. Taking the bus from Nopo will take about 1 hour and 8 minutes.

From Taehwagang Subway Station to Ulsan University take the 401, 492, 712, 124, or 482 bus. Taking the bus from Taehwagang will take about 35-40 minutes.
