My name is Jason- I work for Rutgers Office of IT Accessibility. I have 15 years of experience in the accessibility field. I have spent most of that working directly with individuals with disabilities, to help come up with solutions in higher-education. A large part of this work has been directly involvement with various assistive technologies.
My career as a whole has been at the intersection of Business, Technology, and Accessibility. I have a passion for building strong teams that accomplish what others view as impossible
How do we change the culture of our organizations to build accessibility into the foundations of the work we do? This keynote will hopefully leave you with a new way of thinking about the ways we approach our work, and the foundational steps we need to take to set us up for success in the work we do. In addition to a wide range of lessons learned (the hard way), we will also be discussing the DOJs final ruling on Title II regarding web and mobile accessibility- and what it means for your organization.
