Brian Halligan, co-founder and executive chairperson of HubSpot, served as the company's CEO until 2021. During this time, he earned consistent recognition on Glassdoor’s and Comparably’s lists of best CEOs.
Brian coined the term "inbound marketing" and together with Dharmesh Shah built a movement around the concept, which included organizing the INBOUND event and co-authoring the book Inbound Marketing.

Brian started his career with a BSEE from the University of Vermont. He was an early employee at PTC and rose to become an SVP of sales there over a 10-year span. Then he ran sales at Groove Networks, which was later acquired by Microsoft.
Audrey Powers is the Vice President of Mission & Flight Operations for Blue Origin where she is responsible for New Shepard flight operations and training, vehicle maintenance, and launch complex infrastructure at Launch Site One. Audrey is also an astronaut, having flown on the second human flight of Blue Origin’s New Shepard program, NS-18.
Previously, Audrey served as Vice President of Legal & Compliance for Blue Origin, overseeing a wide variety of legal matters, including regulatory affairs, legislative and policy matters, supplier and customer negotiations and management, maritime law, crisis response, and legal operations.
Audrey received a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical engineering from Purdue University in 1999 and began her nearly 10-year engineering career. As a guidance and controls engineer, she was a flight controller for NASA with 2,000 hours of console time in Mission Control for the International Space Station Program. After leaving NASA, she supported government satellite programs for Lockheed Martin. Following a nearly 10-year engineering career, Audrey attended Santa Clara University School of law and received a Juris Doctor in 2008.

Arnold Barnett is the George Eastman Professor of Management Science and a Professor of Statistics at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
His research specialty is applied mathematical modeling with a focus on problems of health and safety. Barnett’s early work on homicide was presented to President Gerald Ford at the White House, and his analysis of U.S. casualties in Vietnam was the subject of a column by William F. Buckley.
Barnett has written op-ed pieces for The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, the Boston Globe, CNN Opinion, the Charlotte Observer, The Hill, Real Clear Markets, and USA Today. He received the President’s Award and the Expository Writing Award from INFORMS in 1996 and in 2001, and is a Fellow of INFORMS. Jen Felch is the Chief Digital Officer and CIO of Dell Technologies, responsible for driving the strategy, direction and delivery for Dell Digital (Dell’s IT organization) while leading the transformation and adoption of digital technologies across Dell.
Jen’s position combines the traditional roles and responsibilities of a CIO, along with the emerging role of change agent for digital transformation. Michael “Mick” Farrell was appointed ResMed’s CEO and has served as a director since March 2013. In January 2023, he was appointed chair of our board of directors. Mick joined the company in 2000, serving as president of the Americas region from 2011 to 2013, senior vice president of the global sleep apnea business unit from 2007 to 2011, and various senior roles in marketing and business development.
Before joining ResMed, Mick worked in management consulting, biotechnology, chemicals and metals manufacturing at companies including Arthur D. Little, Sanofi Genzyme, Dow Chemical, and BHP.
Mick serves on the board of directors of the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed) and Zimmer Biomet (NYSE: ZBH), a global provider of implantable musculoskeletal medical devices. Dave has been the CEO of Saol Therapeutics since 2016. In his role, he has been instrumental in the company strategy that resulted in more than $300M in aggregate financings and subsequent divestitures to support the funding needed to initiate new product development. These successes ultimately led to the creation of a late-stage pipeline that included the approval of LYVISPAH® in 2021 and the sale of the Commercial programs that have accelerated Saol’s investment in SL-1002 in pain related to osteoarthritis of the knee, spasticity, and SL-1009 in rare mitochondrial diseases and oncology.
Prior to Saol, Dave held a number of roles with consistently growing responsibility at both Genentech and Corcept Therapeutics. As Vice President of Commercial Operations at Corcept, he was instrumental in the early turnaround of the Korlym® franchise, which has since continued to grow at a rapid pace. Kristin Toth is currently President & Chief Operating Officer at Vesta Home after its acquisition of Fernish, (where she held the same role and was a member of the board of directors). Her startup career began at Zulily as Vice President, Operations where she built and scaled the full operations organization through IPO. She subsequently held CEO and COO positions at startups Code Fellows (software coding school) and Dolly (on-demand last-mile delivery and moving, acquired). Earlier, in eight years at Amazon, Kristin led several teams across the company, building Prime, launching same day delivery, as category manager of Movies & Television, and leading the Marketing, Product Management, Site Merchandising, Pricing, Business Development, and Design teams responsible for building and launching Amazon’s digital music offering.

Nima is VP/General Manager Large Molecule Platform North America at Johnson & Johnson. In this role, Nima provides leadership and strategic direction to three Large Molecule (LM) sites in North America and leads the cold chain operations for the LM platform globally. Prior to this role, Nima was the General Manager for the J&J biologics site in Malvern, PA.
Nima previously led the external partnerships organization for the Janssen pharmaceuticals manufacturing network. In this role, Nima led a global organization with production activities across 40 external sites. Nima joined Johnson & Johnson in 2008 and has diverse experience across many of J&J’s businesses. Dan Burseth is the Vice President of Business Development for Invio Automation. Invio designs and builds automation equipment and provides digital factory services to manufacturers in end-markets including medical device and life sciences, renewable energy, mobility, semiconductor, and heavy industry. Invio was previously named Eckhart and was LFM Capital's first portfolio company. Jordan Charles is the Vice President and General Manager of the New Glenn Stage 1 reusable booster program at Blue Origin where he leads the team responsible for the design, development, manufacturing, and certification of one of the world’s largest reusable rocket stages. Prior to this role, Jordan served in various leadership positions at Blue Origin, Boeing, and Lockheed Martin spanning engineering, supply chain, and program management.

Brian Feller is the Vice President of Operations at Nvidia. Currently, he is responsible for supply, production and capacity planning of Nvidia’s full product portfolio as well as global logistics and fulfillment for over 20 manufacturing and distribution sites. Additionally, his team includes a growing Services organization to support reverse logistics, repair, and RMA fulfillment.
Prior to Nvidia, Brian worked at Dell where he spent almost 19 years in a variety of supply chain roles including supply planning, manufacturing quality, production planning, logistics, reverse logistics, and chief of staff. Before Dell, he was a consultant with Arthur Andersen for ~6.5 years where he focused on supply chain operations, warehouse management and planning system implementations, and facility design. Michael Tajima is the Senior Vice President of Strategy at Paragonix Technologies, an early stage commercial medical device company creating new systems for donor organ preservation and transportation. Currently, he is responsible for product strategy & definition, medical & scientific research, and government & payor relations.
Michael has been in the medical device field for the last 13 years primarily with start-up and early stage commercial companies. He has led marketing, product management, and medical affairs in cardiovascular surgery, interventional cardiology, radiation oncology and laparoscopy. He is passionate about developing strategic businesses with products that improve outcomes for critically ill patients. Jonathan Strimling (LGO ’96) is CEO of CleanFiber and a seasoned executive and serial entrepreneur, with deep experience launching technology ventures.

Ting Shih is the CEO and founder of ClickMedix, an award-winning AI-powered healthcare technology social enterprise born out of MIT with the mission of improving the health of over 1 billion people using mobile technologies. Guadalupe Hayes-Mota, a distinguished biotechnologist, entrepreneur, and public servant is the founder and CEO of Healr Solutions. Under his leadership, this company has pioneered technology to expedite drug production, securing $10M in funding. In addition, Hayes-Mota offers his expertise as an MIT lecturer and advisor on healthcare policy for the U.S. Congress. He also holds a position on the Massachusetts Rare Disease Advisory Council, serving under the Governor of Massachusetts.
His diverse career history includes roles as a Vice-President in Supply Chain and Manufacturing for Fortune 500 biopharma companies, Director of the United States' largest free healthcare system, and a key contributor to the development of the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.
Regarding board memberships, Hayes-Mota provides guidance as an advisor for Sanofi and serves on the boards of Fenway Health, Save One Life, and the MIT Alumni Association. Notably, he is the founder and past president of the MIT LGBT+ Alumni Association.
Hayes-Mota's significant impact in the biopharmaceutical industry has earned him recognition as one of the top 100 influential leaders in the industry by PharmaVoice, the title of one of the most powerful LGBT+ leaders by Business Insider, and the honor of Healthcare Executive of the Year by Los Angeles Business Journal. Academically, he holds a BS, an MS in Engineering Systems, an MBA from MIT, and an MPA from Harvard University.
Rob comes to cleantech after over 30 years of experience in automotive and finance, with a focus on startups and turnarounds. His strong engineering and technical subject matter expertise has naturally led him to product development in technology-intensive sectors. He has worked with AlumaPower’s CTO Geoff Sheerin on a number of new ventures and joined with him formally in 2017 to launch AlumaPower, where he is Co-founder and CEO.
Prior to his time in automotive, Rob worked as a blue-chip company consultant for McKinsey and in investment banking on Wall Street.
He holds masters degrees in engineering and management (MIT, Sloan school), and a BSE in electrical engineering & computer sciences (Princeton). His graduate work on how to launch quality products quickly is still cited in business literature on best practices of new product development.
Rob has, and continues to sit, on various boards in membership and advisory roles. He is also a long time member of the Young President’s Organization (YPO) and was a Board Member there for over 4 years. Most recently, he completed the Innovation Governance Program – Level 1 through the Council of Canadian Innovators (June 2023).
Jeff Baer began his career in automotive engineering at Ford Motor Company, but later caught the entrepreneurial bug. Various roles in product management, sales, account management, and business development in venture-backed start-ups led to him founding LinkeDrive, which helps trucking companies incentivize, measure, and motivate their drivers’ performance using the nascent learnings of nudge theory and behavioral science.
Jeff is currently advising several electric vehicle and transportation technology start-ups while launching a new integrated hardware/software venture in the fuel supply chain. He is the father of four sons: Gus, Hank, Cash and Willie.
Baer earned a SM in Systems Engineering and an MBA from MIT and the Sloan School of Management as a 2006 graduate of the Leaders for Manufacturing program. He earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University in 2001 where he was also an Academic All-American, letterwinner, and member of the 2001 Big Ten Championship football team.
Richard F. (Rick) Dauch has served as Chief Executive Officer of Workhorse, Inc., a commercial EV start-up company based in Sharonville, Ohio since joining the Company in August 2021. He also is an Officer of the Company and member of its Board of Directors.
During complementary corporate and military careers, Dauch has amassed 40 years of cumulative management and P&L leadership experience across a broad range of disciplines, including operations, sales & marketing, labor relations, strategic planning, finance, and investor relations. He has been the CEO & President of three Tier 1 automotive supplier companies:
Delphi Technologies, a $5B/yr automotive parts supplier of both ICE and EV powertrain systems. He led the turnaround of that business and its strategic merger with BorgWarner in the fall of 2020.
Accuride Corporation, reshaping it from a $800m/yr North American supplier of commercial vehicle parts into a $1.4B/yr wheel-end systems supplier to the global transportation and agricultural industries from 2008-18.
Acument Global Technologies, where he was responsible for leading the restructuring of the largest global fastening solutions company in the world on behalf of Platinum Equity during the 2008-2010 global recession.
Prior to joining Acument, Dauch served in varied capacities during a 13-year tenure with American Axle & Manufacturing, Inc. (AAM), a $3.8B/yr supplier of driveline, drivetrain and chassis systems and related metallic components based in Detroit, Michigan where he completed his career as EVP, Global Operations responsible for 18 operating sites. Prior to AAM, Dauch worked at United Technologies, Carrier Division, where he led the specialty packaged products (SPP) business consisting of four product lines produced in Korea, Italy, Mexico, Brazil, and in several plants across the USA. Prior to that assignment he was both the site materials and manufacturing manager in Tyler, TX.
Dauch’s corporate career was preceded by his service as an officer in the U.S. Army beginning in 1983, concluding with his assignment as a Light Infantry Company Commander with the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum, NY. Dauch was qualified as an Airborne-Ranger, Air Assault and expert infantryman.
Dauch earned dual Master of Science degrees in Management and Engineering and is a graduate of the “Leaders for Manufacturing” program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he was a four-year football letterman.
Dauch is an owner and Chairman of Century, LLC, and Tactical Kinetics, LLC. He is also a minority owner of the West Point Optical Group. He previously served on the Board of Directors at the SHYFT Group, Koch Enterprises, the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA) and Motor Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA). He also serves on the Board of Directors and is a past president of the Army Football Club. He is married with seven children, 12 grandchildren and is an avid military historian and sports enthusiast.
Caitlin Braun is the Director of Strategy and Process Improvement at J&E Precision, an LFM Capital portfolio company in Aerospace and Defense (A&D). J&E is a platform of three companies nationwide focused on manufacturing high-precision machined components; the goal of LFM Capital with J&E is to begin transforming the highly fragmented A&D supply base, building the next level of capability in a high mix, low volume manufacturing environment that is vital to our national security and economic progress. Prior to this role, Caitlin served as the technical lead at Stryker, where she successfully launched the second generation PowerLOAD system, Stryker Emergency Care’s industry leading automated ambulance cot-loading and fastening system.
Caitlin holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, a BA in Physics from Kalamazoo College, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management. As a competitive triathlete, Caitlin connects with her community, providing volunteer leadership and support for new riders in annual charity events through Make-A-Wish Foundation, Best Buddies Bike Challenge, and Velosano Cancer Research.
Erez Kaminski is the CEO and Founder of Ketryx Corporation, the first and only connected lifecycle management software for MedTech that unifies quality and R&D efforts to deliver safer software. Over the last decade, he worked in industries including computational mathematics, biotech, and energy, helping build monitoring systems for pharmaceutical equipment and AI for medication management.
Before Ketryx, Erez worked with Amgen, the world’s largest biotechnology company, as the head of AI/ML for their medical device division and with Wolfram Research, the builders of Mathematica and Wolfram|Alpha. Erez holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Kaya graduated from Dartmouth College with B.A. in Computer Science. After graduating she worked as a software engineer at Slack and then Calm in the San Francisco Bay Area. She obtained her MBA and Masters in Civil and Environmental Engineering from MIT Sloan and the School of Engineering in 2023. While at Sloan, Kaya was a co-president of the Retail & Consumer Goods Club and co-VP of Communications for the Black Business Student Association. She organized the 2023 MIT Retail Conference with theme Purpose-Led Retail focused on Sustainability. Upon graduation, she was the recipient of the Sustainability Certificate from the MIT Sloan Sustainability Initiative.
Kaya is now a Consultant at Bain & Company in the Boston office.
Scarlett Koller is the CEO and co-Founder of Mithril Technologies, a firm developing and launching next-generation satellite antenna technologies out of MIT AeroAstro.
Scarlett earned her SB from MIT AeroAstro in 2016, and spent five years in the space industry, working at SpaceX in Crew Dragon Life Support Systems Engineering, followed by NASA JPL as a Systems Testbed Engineer and Flight Operator on Mars 2020 Perseverance. Conveniently, she was admitted to the LGO Class of 2023 immediately after the landing of Perseverance on Mars. She used the LGO experience to expand her network and her knowledge of the space industry as co-President of the Sloan Space Industry Club, a leader of two New Space Age Conferences, a recipient of the Aerospace Innovation Certificate and as an intern on Amazon's Project Kuiper.
Dante Montgomery is an associate in Danaher’s General Manager Development Program. His current role is as a Global Business Enablement Manager at Cytiva, Danaher’s largest operating company in the biotechnology sector. Leveraging the Danaher Business System (DBS), he leads global cross-functional initiatives to drive gains in revenue achievement and operating margin expansion. Prior to this role in Cytiva, Dante was a Global Product Manager within Pall Industrial, another Danaher operating company, leading new product development and product lifecycle management activities for a portfolio of fluids filtration and separation products focused on the oil and gas industry and adjacent markets. Prior to Danaher, he spent five years at ExxonMobil leading oil and gas infrastructure projects primarily in Chad and across the United States.
Dante holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. While at MIT, he was Co-President of the Black Business Student Association and Co-Chair for the Africa Innovate Conference. He is also a Co-Founder and Co-Chair for the MIT LGO Underrepresented Minority Alumni Group. Dante is originally from Atlanta, GA and currently resides in Orlando, FL.
Since graduation from LGO in 2022, Jen has worked for partner company Rivian with roles in supply chain risk and (currently) go-to-market strategy. She brings notable cross-industry experience to her work, including pharmaceutical manufacturing, oil and gas engineering, and e-retail/warehousing.
Jen holds a BSE in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan, as well as an MBA and MS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT. Jen currently resides in the California Bay area with her partner and loyal canine companion.
Andrew is currently a technical product manager at Zoox, where he hopes to make self-driving cars an everyday reality. As a PM, he splits his time between a team focused on behavioral challenges for the vehicle autonomy, and a team focused on the operations of a large fleet of test vehicles. Prior to LGO he was a submarine officer in the US Navy.
Andrew holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the US Naval Academy, as well as an MBA and MS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT. Andrew lives in Medford, MA with his spouse.
Milo Werner is a General Partner at The Engine. She serves as a Board Member for Atlantic Quantum, Foundation Alloy, Mori, Resonant Link, and TeraDar.
Milo joined The Engine from Ajax Strategies where she was a Partner, leading mid-stage investments across energy, transportation, agriculture and industrial applications. Before Ajax Strategies, Milo joined Tesla in 2007, at a critical stage in the company's trajectory, where she led New Production Introduction, launching the Model S powertrain (battery, drive unit, and all the stuff in between), dual motor, drivers assist and, most importantly, Model X. During her tenure, the company grew from 200 employees to 12,000. In addition to Tesla, Milo ran New Product Introduction at Fitbit, launching four factories in China and transitioning the company to fully automated production. She also led engineering and product for micro-grid company Zola, a startup providing distributed energy to over a million families in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Milo earned a BS in Geology and Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Vermont, as well as an MS in Civil Engineering and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management. She sits on the boards of the UVM College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, AxelHire, and Infinitum Electric.
